2024 Dodge Hornet Model Lineup Topeka KS
We were absolutely thrilled when Dodge introduced the new Hornet to us a couple of years ago. It came at the perfect time, as we had just recently found out that the Charger and Challenger wouldn’t be continuing after the next model year. Now, the Dodge Hornet GT has already established itself as a great option on the lineup, and the Dodge Hornet R/T has officially joined the lineup and will soon be getting its first cross-channel marketing campaign. We’re stoked to be able to provide both members of the 2024 Dodge Hornet Model lineup right here at Briggs Dodge RAM in Topeka, Kansas.
Hornet GT
The traditional gas-powered version of the Dodge Hornet was the first to be released, having joined the lineup last year for 2023. A performance beast within the compact crossover segment, the Hornet GT is powered by a 2.0L Hurricane4 turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The powertrain is capable of generating 268 horsepower alongside 295 pound-feet of torque, which enables it to hit a top speed of 140 miles per hour, the fastest in its segment.
Hornet R/T
This year, the Hornet GT was joined by a plug-in hybrid variant called the Dodge Hornet R/T. Its electrified hybrid powertrain combines a 1.3L turbocharged engine with an electric motor for a total of 288 horsepower alongside 383 pound-feet of torque, only improving on what the Hornet GT was already capable of doing. The Hornet R/T, however, can only hit a top speed of 288 horsepower but it is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 5.6 seconds.
