2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Models Exterior Driver Side Front Profiles

Last week we finally got a chance to talk about the brand-new, first-ever all-electric muscle car coming to the Dodge lineup. The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack and Daytona R/T were both unveiled earlier this month, and we couldn’t be more stoked about the future of the brand. While we gave you an overview of highlighted information as far as early specifications and features are concerned, today we wanted to dive into a little more specificity where performance is concerned. Naturally, performance is the most important aspect of any Dodge vehicle, and that’s certainly the case for the world’s first EV muscle car. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the next-generation performance dynamics, features and technologies that will be packed into the Daytona EV.

Performance-enhancing Features & Tech

One of the best ways to enhance performance in any vehicle is to include driver-selectable modes that simply take care of adjustments for you on the fly. The new Charger Daytona will offer several fantastic driving modes including Auto, Eco, Sport, Wet/Snow, Track, Drag, Drift and Donut. Yes, donut. The last four options are exclusive to the Daytona Scat Pack models.

Another fantastic feature that immediately enhances performance in the Charger Daytona is PowerShot mode, which will quickly deliver an incremental boost of 40 horsepower for 15 seconds whenever you activate it with a punch of the throttle. This great feature is standard on both the Scat Pack and R/T models.

Engineers made sure to include the right kinds of mechanical components in the new Charger to ensure its performance, including the suspension system, wheels, tires and brakes. The Charger Daytona includes a multi-link front suspension, fully independent rear four-link suspension, 20” wheels and staggered Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires. As for the braking system, by opting for the Track Package on the Scat Pack, you’ll get an incredible set of Brembo brakes.

The Charger Daytona will also feature Brake by Wire eBoost, which is an intelligent braking system designed to control various aspects of braking to optimize force and pedal feedback. Finally, Dual-valve Semi-active suspension is another optional add-on through the Track Package. It’s an Adaptive Damping system that further enhances performance.
