What’s new for 2024?

Previously only available on the R/T trim level, the Tow N Go Package will now be available on the Durango Citadel as well. Speaking of the exciting package, it’s been upgraded itself to deliver a best-in-class towing capacity of 8,700 pounds and other improvements, including a new top speed of 145 mph. Finally, Blind Spot Monitoring has now been made standard across the whole Durango lineup while Blind Spot Monitor with Trailer Detect is now in the Trailer Tow Group package.

Model Lineup

Speaking of the Durango lineup, let’s take a look at the different trim level options from which you’ll be able to choose. Trim levels include the SXT, GT, R/T, Citadel, SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat. You’ll also be able to choose between eight exterior color options (DB Black, Destroyer Grey, Frostbite, Night Moves, Red Oxide, Octane Red, Triple Nickel, White Knuckle) and five interior color options (Black, Black & Radar Red, Black & Vitra Grey, Black & Ebony Red, Black & Demonic Red).

Powertrain Options

Depending on which trim level you opt for, you’ll find one of three different powertrains beneath the hood of your 2024 Durango. One award-winning option is a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine that’s capable of hauling up to 6,200 pounds and delivering 295 horsepower alongside 260 pound-feet of torque. Another choice is a 5.7L HEMI V8 with 360 hp alongside 390 lb-ft. of torque. Finally, the SRT 392 trim level comes with its own HEMI V8 engine that can generate up to 475 hp and 470 lb-ft. of torque.
