2021 Ram 2500 Power Wagon Topeka KS

2022 Power Wagon Rumors

The RAM line-up of trucks has been dominating the industry for many years now, and this will continue into 2022 with the release of the 2022 RAM 2500 Power Wagon. The Power Wagon has been around since 1945, and just recently had its 75th anniversary in 2021. The 2022 Power Wagon has many great new features to behold, and today we’ll be looking at what RAM has in store for us.

Historically, Power Wagons have included larger wheels, better shocks, bigger engine and powertrain options, and higher ride clearance. This stays true for the 2022 model year. The new Power Wagon will carry over some of the features that were present on the 75th anniversary 2021 model, such as 17-inch bead-lock enabled wheels, and rock rails. Popular features that were on the anniversary edition, such as power-folding side mirrors with auto adjustment memory, reverse lamps, power-adjustable seat sections, and auxiliary sections, and automatic high beam headlights will carry over as well giving the 2022 Power Wagon a high quality feel.

The 2022 Power Wagon will have a powerful 6.4-liter Hemi V8, which produces 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be paired with a 4×4 drive system and an 8-speed transmission. The max towing capacity will go up to 10,850 pounds, which is extremely impressive. Fuel economy numbers are unknown as of now, but will be announced the closer we get to release.

The interior of the new Power Wagon is one of the most impressive parts of this truck. In the front you’ll find 8-way adjustable leather bucket seats with heating and cooling features, power-adjustable pedals, a heated steering wheel, an upgraded full-length floor console, and LED accent lighting. Passengers in back also benefit from heated seats, as well as some in-floor storage bins. For technology, we’ll be getting a 12-inch Uconnect 5 Infotainment system, complete with Navigation and Off-Road Pages functionality. A 17-Speaker Harman Kardon stereo system will also be included, along with rain-sensing wipers and keyless entry functionalities.

It’s projected that the 2022 Power Wagon will be available for purchase towards the end of 2021. Dodge has yet to release any official details on release or price, so we’ll just have to stay tuned for more information.

2022 Dodge Durango Topeka KS

The 2022 Dodge Durango Refresh

Dodge’s powerful SUV, the Durango, is receiving some mid-cycle refreshments for 2022. The new Durango will receive some exterior and interior changes, such as new exterior paints, new optional wheels, changes on the front fascia, and new taillights and a new rear bumper. As for the interior, you’ll find some added technology that will improve the quality of your experience owning the Durango. Let’s look at all the new features Dodge has in store for us for the 2022 model year.

The new Durango will be powered by a 3.5-liter V6, which will produce 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine will come standard. You’ll have the option to upgrade to a 5.7-liter Hemi V8, which will produce 360 horsepower. The next engine choice is the monster 6.2-liter supercharged V8 which is featured on the SRT trim. This engine will make a staggering 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque and can be paired with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. There’s been rumors that the new Durango will have an eTorque mild-hybrid system, but that has been neither confirmed nor denied by Dodge.

In the cabin you’ll see many new technological additions and changes. A new instrument panel, a roomier center console, a wireless charging pad, and a larger 10.1 inch touch screen are the biggest changes. The latest Uconnect 5 infotainment system is present, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Nine-speaker audio system comes standard, and an optional 19 speaker Harman Kardon system is available to upgrade to. Nappa leather and suede with silver accent stitching is available, as well as carbon fiber accents and soft-touch leather.

The release date of the new Durango is still unknown, although we expect it to be released in fall of 2021. We do know that the high powered SRT model of the Durango will be sold in limited numbers, just as the 2021 model was. This is due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has made production of vehicles more difficult. The price will likely start at around $44,000 for the base model of the 2022 Durango. Stay tuned for more information regarding this beast of a three-row SUV. We’ll keep you updated.
