Dodge's Uconnect Infotainment System is packed with fantastic features for drivers and passengers alike.

Dodge’s Uconnect Infotainment System

The Uconnect infotainment system is featured throughout all the modern iterations of Dodge vehicles. Uconnect is a hub for connectivity, entertainment, and navigation functions in your vehicle. Utilizing a fully touch controlled screen, which can be paired with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the Uconnect system is intuitive and easy to use.

The Uconnect system is packed full of fantastic features that greatly increase ease of use and the quality of your driving experience. The touchscreen infotainment system replaces the radio, so a large function of Uconnect is being a multimedia system. You can access the radio with a single press of a button, and from there you’ll have the option of choosing a radio station, or selecting a media source such as your smartphone.

You can easily pair your Apple or Android smartphone to the Uconnect system, which will give you the ability to make hands-free phone calls, play any media, and send text messages using only your voice. The navigation system offers turn-by-turn directions, making it easier to navigate wherever it is you’re trying to go. In certain Dodge vehicles the Uconnect system also has the ability to adjust seats and mirrors, access climate control settings, and control the Wi-Fi hotspot.

Dodge also offers Uconnect Access, which is a monthly subscription service that unlocks more for your Uconnect system. If you choose to pay the subscription you’ll have access to 24/7 roadside assistance, an auto generated vehicle health report, a system that sends a text whenever your car alarm goes off, and the location of your vehicle will be sent to the police if it gets stolen.

If you’re interested in any vehicle that has the Uconnect system, then come on down to Briggs Dodge RAM. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff would love to answer any questions you may have and help get you set up in the vehicle of your choice.

Hennessey creates 7-seat SUV from the 2021 Doge TRX

Hennessy Create “Mammoth” From Ram TRX

We previously discussed the 2021 RAM TRX and how powerful of a truck it is. Hennessey Performance, the brand that has modified other Dodge vehicles such as the Demon and the Durango, are back with another modification. They will be transforming the powerful TRX super truck into a seven seater SUV that they dub the Mammoth SUV 1000.

The Mammoth will produce a staggering 1,012 horsepower from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, and can go 0-60 in just 3.2 seconds. This is impressive considering the added weight from the components that turn the truck into an SUV. For reference, the regular non-modified TRX does 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. The torque is greatly increased as well, going from 319 lb-ft of torque to 969 lb-ft of torque.

The Mammoth SUV will also have Hennessey’s Mammoth Off Road package, which includes a 2.5-inch lift, custom front bumper with LED lights, 20-inch Hennessey 10-spoke wheels, 35-inch off-road tires, and a front suspension leveling kit. This SUV will be a monster when it comes to going off-road, being able to handle anything you throw in its way.

Hennessey has said that the Mammoth SUV will have three rows and will seat seven adults comfortably. Bespoke bodywork extends the roofline to meet a new C-pillar that sits above the rear taillights. The bespoke conversion incorporates a sizable rear-side window and adds a rear screen, increasing visibility. Hennessey also improved the cargo space, leaving much room for your stuff behind the third row of seats.

There will only be 20 models of the Mammoth SUV created, and they will have a base price of $375,000. If you want this Mammoth of a TRX, then you can reach out to Hennessey, or place an order through Briggs Dodge RAM.

Brake pads need to be replaced every 25,000 to 70,000 miles, depending on the make and model of the vehicle, along with the operator’s driving habits and recommended service interval listed in the owner’s manual. Are you wondering how to tell when your brakes need to be serviced? Continue reading below to learn 5 signs that signal brakes need service.
