Late last year Dodge announced their Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th anniversary edition, which was limited to only 501 models. This special edition Hellcat is going to be very hard, and very expensive to get your hands on. Luckily, Dodge has just recently announced that they will be releasing two Daytona Edition Package models in a non-widebody format, those two being the Charger R/T and the Scat Pack. Even better news: these two models are now available for pre-order!
When optioned with the Daytona Edition Package, both trims get a Mopar cold air intake under the hood, a black spoiler, and a satin black Daytona graphic across the rear decklid and fenders. Both sedans also upgrade their side mirrors to automatically adjust downward when the transmission is put in reverse, plus an automatically-dimming driver’s side mirror.
There are some differences in upgrades when it comes to the R/T and the Scat Pack when equipped with the Daytona package. The Charger R/T Daytona edition will come with 20-inch lights-out painted wheels for the exterior in combination with Daytona branding. Inside, updates include black-edged premium floor mats, Nappa/Alcantara seats with the Daytona logo, LED ambient lighting, gloss black instrument cluster trim rings, and stitched dash panels. As for the Charger Scat Pack Daytona, exterior upgrades include a wider set of 20-inch forged aluminum wheels wrapped in 275/40ZR20 all-season performance tires, as well as a 392 decal on the fenders and Daytona decals on the roof, hood, and trunk.
The Charger R/T Daytona sells for $39,890, while the Scat Pack Daytona has a price of $43,490. If you have any more questions about either the Charger R/T or the Scat Pack with the Daytona Edition Package, feel free to contact our friendly staff. We would love to help you out!
