Powertrain Options

There are three different engine options available in the RAM 3500, starting with a base 6.4L HEMI V8 option that’s capable of generating up to 410 horsepower alongside 429 pound-feet of torque. The next option up is a 6.7L Cummins Standard-Output turbo-diesel option that generates 370 horsepower and a big 850 lb-ft. of torque. Finally, a 6.7L Cummins High-Output turbo-diesel boosts performance to 420 horsepower alongside a very impressive 1,075 lb-ft. of torque.

Model Lineup

When it comes to the RAM 3500 lineup of models, you’ll have seven different trim levels from which to choose. The lineup starts off with the Tradesman then moves up to the Big Horn/Lone Star, Power Wagon, Rebel, Laramage, Limited Longhorn and the Limited. There are also ten different exterior color options you can choose from, including Delmonico Red Pearl, Flame Red, Granite Crystal Metallic, Billet Silver Metallic, Diamond Black Crystal Pearl, Bright White, Patriot Blue Pearl, Pearl White and the Power Wagon/Rebel-exclusive Hydro Blue or Olive Green.

Available Configurations

On top of choosing your trim level and exterior color option, there are also a few different configurations you can choose between, starting with the regular cab and an eight-foot bed. There are then two different crew cab models, one with the same eight-foot bed and another with a smaller six-foot, four-inch bed. Finally, the mega cab is available with the six-foot, four-inch bed. While most of these configurations are available in either 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrains, the mega cab is only available with the 4x4 option.
