2024 RAM 1500 REV Exterior Driver Side Front Profile

We’ve known for some time that RAM was working on its first-ever battery electric vehicle, and we’ve been waiting with bated breath for its introduction. We got a taste not long ago with the unveiling of the RAM 1500 Revolution concept pickup truck, which gave us an excellent glimpse into what the eventual production model might look like. Now, we’ve laid our eyes on the official production model, as the 2024 RAM 1500 REV made its debut in an ad during this year’s big game. We cannot wait for the all-electric pickup to arrive here in Topeka, Kansas!

Capability

Naturally, we don’t yet have official specifications for the vehicle as it’s still in its infancy. As time goes on we’ll have more details, so be sure to check out our blog for updates. Until then, one thing we know for sure is that the REV is being built on the new STLA Frame platform, which means it will deliver impressive capabilities, range, towing capacity and payload.

Design

As you can see from the pictures here, RAM engineers made sure to build a truck that looked as rugged as a RAM pickup should yet still as sleek and stunning as an electric vehicle should as well. The grille of EVs has been a point of contention for some time, but the bold grille sitting at the front of the REV looks great, as does the signature lighting on the front and rear fascias.

Innovation

With a massive display audio screen in the center console, as evidenced by the image here, we know there will be plenty of advanced technologies packed into the 1500 REV when it becomes available. We’re sure there will be plenty of innovation in the cabin, including a passenger side display! One exciting new feature only in the 1500 REV is its innovative front trunk, or frunk, increasing the truck’s versatility.
