Power & Performance

Beneath the hood of the 2024 Dodge Hornet GT is a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder Hurricane4 engine. The powertrain includes direct-injection, stop-start technology and an electric nine-speed transmission. The engine is capable of generating up to 268 horsepower alongside 295 pound-feet of torque, which in turn enables it to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 6.5 seconds with Sport Mode enabled.

Sport Mode

Speaking of Sport Mode, what exactly is that? This driving mode can be triggered with a button on the steering wheel. Enabling the mode allows the vehicle to automatically adjust certain aspects of the vehicle to deliver sharper throttle, an optimized shift schedule, tighter steering, stiffer suspension and access to the vehicle’s full power and torque. This mode enables the vehicle to be quicker than normal.

Trims & Packages

The Hornet GT is available as its base model or as the GT Plus. The latter adds several great features to those that already come standard in the model, like upgraded audio and seating. In addition there are three packages available to increase the amount of content even further. Available options include the Blacktop Package, the Track Pack and the Tech Pack.
