It should come as no surprise that our number one vehicle here at Briggs Dodge RAM is the RAM 1500. It’s the staple of the brand, is consistently recognized as one of the best-selling overall vehicles of the year and it’s just overall a great truck. There are many different trim levels to choose from, but we wanted to highlight specifically the Big Horn trim level on this page. The 2023 RAM 1500 is available right here at Briggs Dodge RAM in Topeka, Kansas, and the Big Horn trim level is one of several trim levels in which it is offered.
Not much changed for the Big Horn trim level in particular this year. Like other trim levels, it too receives the updated 12” Uconnect 5 touchscreen with Emergency Vehicle Alert System, as well as Rear-seat Reminder Alert and an LED hitch lamp in the tailgate handle. Both the BackCountry and Off-Road Group packages, which are available on the Big Horn trim level, now offer Selec-Speed Control as a standard feature.
There are several features added to the Big Horn trim level that lesser trims don’t offer, including: a new air filtration system, 18” aluminum wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, a chrome grille surround and front and rear bumpers, fog lamps, in-floor storage, available dual-pane panoramic sunroof, RamBox Cargo Management System and that aforementioned Uconnect system in either 8.4” or 12”.
The Big Horn trim level is available in all three body configurations. That means you can opt for the quad cab with a 6’4” bed, the crew cab with a 5’7” bed or the crew cab with a 6’4” bed. In addition, it’s available with either a 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrain. As for special editions, the BackCountry Edition was built on the Big Horn trim level, which is a trim level specifically designed with off-road adventures like camping in mind.
