One of the most iconic sports cars ever built, the Dodge Challenger continues to turn heads all these years later. The vehicle was first introduced for a shockingly short generation from 1970 to 1974, then returned from 1977 to 1983 before it disappeared for a quarter century. Since 2008, however, the legend lives on! Building onto its legacy year after year, we’re absolutely thrilled to make this iconic muscle car available to shoppers right here in Topeka, KS. If you’re interested in the most recent iteration of the vehicle, then you’ll be looking for the 2022 Dodge Challenger.
Each year the Challenger undergoes some tweaks and enhancements, which is probably a big factor in why it continues to be exciting year after year. Not much needed to change this year, but a deluxe security alarm system was made standard on R/T Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, SRT Hellcat Redeye and SRT Super Stock models. It is available in many other trims as well thanks to being in the Driver Convenience Group.
You’ll be able to make sure you’re getting as much power and performance as you want by choosing the powertrain of your Challenger. There are six different powertrain options, starting with the 3.6L V6 that generates 303 horsepower, a 5.7L HEMI V8 with 375 hp, a 392 HEMI V8 with 485 hp, a 6.2L HEMI V8 with 717 hp, a 6.2L HEMI V8 with 797 hp and a recalibrated version of that last engine that offers 807 hp.
This year’s lineup includes nine different trim levels, starting with the SXT and moving up to the SXT AWD, GT, GT AWD, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, SRT Hellcat Redeye and SRT Super Stock. After choosing your trim, you’ll also be able to choose from thirteen different exterior color options and five different interior colors. To name a few: Hellraisin, Pitch Black and Sinamon Stick outside, or Sepia inside.
